To reach the Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven involves walking along the top of the Seven Sisters, turn right at the Cuckmere Estuary, up to Exceat and down the other side of the estuary which is a total distance of 5.4 miles or 8.6 km - and then you've got to get back.
The Beachy Head Lighthouse is 2 miles or 3.2 km.
Eastbourne Pier is 5.12 miles or 8.25 km.
The Tiger Inn in East Dean is 1.3 miles or 2.09 km.
